High Quality Leather Holsters
High Quality Leather Holsters
From idea to conception, each leather holster has been developed, each process has been fine-tuned, and each design has been modified. Allowing each and every model to be perfected.
What began for Brian Ragsdale as a search for a better brand of holster, soon became a learning experience in craftsmanship. With high standards, Brian set out to create a holster which would meet his own demand for comfort and quality. In May of 2008, Brian decided to uncage his workmanship, and Ragsdale Holsters was born.
In 2020, A.J. Monte purchased the company after finding a mix of two passions guns and leather crafting. A.J. has the same passion and attention to detail as Brian Ragsdale , A.J. carries on the same quality and designs as originally blossomed by Brian Ragsdale.
From idea to conception, each holster has been developed, each process has been fine-tuned, and each design has been modified. Allowing each and every model to be perfected.
Ragsdale Holsters are completely made by hand, from cutting the patterns to the last coat of wax sealer. Every holster is built individually, which makes for a unique, handcrafted, high quality product.

Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: Lifetime warranty under normal wear/use.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: After receiving your holster, you will have 10 business days to "try it out". If you are not satisfied after the 10 business days, we will provide a complete refund (we will even refund shipping costs and cover shipping back to us, so you don't lose a dollar!). No matter what your reason, we will accept the return and provide a refund upon our receipt of the undamaged holster. Please email Orders@ragsdaleholsters.com
Q: What if I don't like my holster once it arrives?
A: No problem! Email us at Orders@ragsdaleholsters.com and let us know. We can replace your holster. Or, you can return and we will provide a refund. We will cover shipping costs for the return, so you don't spend anything! Once we receive the holster back in the same condition as sent, we will then provide a full refund back to your card or back to your Paypal.
Q: Is your payment information secure?
A: Absolutely. Our website is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This protects all of your information. Credit card transactions are converted to "token numbers"; this means your credit card information is never ever seen on our side.
Q: Why does it take up to 5 weeks for my holster to ship?
A: Our holsters are individually hand crafted to your gun type, handing, and color. We do not mass produce, so when you place an order it starts from the beginning. The process to construct each holster takes time.
Q: What type of leather do you use?
A: We use premium grade vegetable tanned cow hide. Each hide is inspected and handpicked to ensure the highest quality available with no defects. The Tactical and Belt Worn Pocket holsters are made of a 6/7 thickness leather (each side). The Convertible and Wallet type Pocket holsters are made with a 4/5 thickness leather (each side).
Q: Are your holsters completely leather?
A: Yes, our holsters are leather on both sides, inside and out. There is NO kydex.
Q: What type of stitching do you use?
A: We use a polyester thread. The thread stands up to heat, melts at 483 degrees Fahrenheit, resists bleach and solvents, resists most mineral acids, is not weakened by mildew, and has a tinsel strength of 53 pounds.
Q: Will my holster break-in?
A: Yes. When you receive your holster, it will be stiff. This is normal. After some use, the leather will break-in and become more flexible.
Q: I have a Laserlyte on my pistol, will it still fit in the holster?
A: Yes, it will fit!
Q: Do you provide Veteran Discounts?
A: Absolutely. We provide a 20% discount to all Veterans, servicemen, police, and fireman. If you fall into this category, please email Orders@ragsdaleholsters.com with your information (before you place your order).
Q: Where are the holsters made?
A: Longwood, FL, U.S.A.
